We have a client who is a consultancy company based in Dubai who has a requirement for a QA-QC Engineer to work out of their Dubai Office and out on projects as they arise. The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Demonstrate experience using web based project document systems
- Able to demonstrate excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office tools
- Demonstrate excellent documentation and reporting skills
- Have a full understanding of construction projects processes
- Been a part of the project team that has successfully handed over projects in UAE
- Excellent communication skills, able to integrate within various project teams
- Previous experience in generating and executing a project quality & DLP plans
- Previous experience in collating Operation and Maintenance Manuals
- Excellent understanding of different types of project record documents standards
- Successfully formulated and administered projects documentation deliverables like: Warranties and Guarantees, Training schedules, As Built Drawings, “key” access handover etc.. and ensuring their correctness in order to hand over to the Client
- Generated and managed a full Operation and Maintenance document/s.
- Good knowledge in project snagging and de-snagging process, previous experience in successfully closing out project snags and NCRs
- Full understanding of the requirements of documenting and the correct filing methods in order to hand project closeout documents over to the Client in a professional manner
- Previous experience in formulating project KPIs and reports
- Previous experience in handling the documentation of WIRs & MIRs
- Previous cross project auditing experience is beneficial
- Capable of reading contract documentation and extracting the Contractor’s obligations and required project deliverables
| Qualifications | Degree in Civil Engineering, an MEP related field or similar. |
| Desired Professional / Exposure or Experience | Min 8 years experience working for a Contractor |
| Special skills required | Data analysis, Fluent English language, Communication, Presentation, Reporting, Teambuilding and Interpersonal relationships. |
