Project Engineer (JobRef: 20106)

A well established contracting company is looking for a Project Engineer for their recently awarded project in Abu Dhabi.

The candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Have over 7 years experience working in infrastructure projects and some experience working in railway construction.
• Assist the project/construction manager to establish project objectives, procedures, data collection methods, and performance standards within boundaries of corporate/company policy.
• Determine and identify project responsibilities, assigning and delegating phases and elements to the appropriate personnel.
• Organize scheduled and necessary updates of construction activities and analysis of materials, manpower and equipment required until completion of the Project.
• Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements and conducting testing protocols to monitor project performance standards.
• Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
• Should have a degree in Engineering.
